American Apparel is back, back to basics. Hot on the heels of a successful relaunch in the United States, iconic fashion retailer American Apparel announced its plans for international e-comm expansion in 2018, tapping Pomp & Circumstance as its agency of record for all things marketing, PR and advertising just north of the border. Back with its classic, timeless fashion styles and a fresh new approach that shouts a timely message of body positivity, inclusivity, diversity and personal empowerment, American Apparel relaunched in Canada with the ultimate VIP house party complemented by a mass media strategy inclusive of digital and out-of-home led by P&C. From disco pants to disco balls and all the live music in between, this launch was anything but basic.
